Become a Member
One of the first, and most impactful, ways to get involved is to become a member of the Elks Lodge. The process involves an application and short interview. Upon approval for membership, you’ll be sworn in during a monthly Lodge meeting.
Come by the Kisssimmee Elks lodge during open hours to obtain or turn in your application and learn more. Once you become a member, you can take advantage of all the great events, parties, food and volunteer opportunities the lodge has to offer.
Volunteer
Join us for any one (or all!) of our community and Lodge volunteer opportunities. Some examples of volunteer activities include:
- Give Kids the World Village
- Bingo With the Vets at VA Medical Center’s Community Living Center
- Serving, setup/cleanup or bartending the Lodge Diner
- Decorating for special events
- Working special community events such as Holiday Parties and concerts
- Serving on a committee or as a Lodge Officer
- Selling event tickets or raffle tickets for event raffles
- Community clean-up days
Donate
There are many ways to donate to our Lodge’s causes, whether it be financial donations to the Elks National Fund or the Harry Anna Trust Fund, purchasing jewelry or Veteran bracelets, or donating to our food drive for Homeless Veterans. Donation of your time and special skills is always of value as well!
Attend Lodge Events
We have a House Committee and many other volunteer that work hard throughout the year to plan and put on a lot of really great events. Of course, one of the goals of the events are community camaraderie and having fun with our fellow Elks family. But another key reason for the multitude of events we plan is to support our Elks Charity funds. Proceeds from events are dedicated between various initiatives of the Kissimmee Lodge. Your cost for admission ticket helps support these important funds.
